State of Emergency: Army Imposes Curfew in Adamawa

The Nigerian Army has announced the imposition of a dusk-to-dawn curfew in Adamawa beginning from Thursday. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of 23rd Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Yola, Lt. Ja’afaru Nuhu on Thursday in Yola, said the curfew would be between 6 p.m and 6 am until further notice. Adamawa is among the three states where a State of Emergency was declared by President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday.
